About Calgary Chinese Minor Basketball Association

 

Calgary Chinese Minor Basketball Association (CCMBA) is a community-driven organization dedicated to promoting youth basketball development in Calgary.

Our mission is to provide high-quality training programs, organize competitive and recreational events, and create a positive environment where young athletes can develop their skills, confidence, and teamwork.

CCMBA focuses on early-stage player development, offering structured training for beginners as well as progressive programs for more advanced players. Through professional coaching, engaging activities, and community events, we aim to foster a lifelong passion for basketball among youth.

We are committed not only to athletic development, but also to building character, discipline, and a strong sense of community—especially within the Chinese youth community in Calgary.

CCMBA Fall Basketball Program 

CCMBA is excited to launch our Fall Basketball Program at Griffith Woods School from September 11 to December 18. The program includes Friday basketball-specific athletic training, Saturday basketball classes, and Sunday league games.

CCMBA Girls Basketball Recruitment – “Mulan” Program


The program is open to girls ages 8–10 (U11). Currently, girls will play together with boys, as we are still building enough participation for dedicated girls teams. 

To support female participation, CCMBA will offer fee reductions with costs as low as $0 per game.
